Only a short distance away are many stunning
beaches including Trebarwith Strand, Daymer Bay, Widemouth Bay, Crackington
Haven and Polzeath. Bossiney Beach and Strangles are approached, like
many Cornish coves, by dramatic cliff walks.
Port Isaac is a quiet picturesque fishing village,
in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the popular harbour at Padstow.
Also nearby is Tintagel with its old Post Office
and legendary King Arthur's Castle overlooking the sea, just waiting to
be explored.
Take a stroll around the shops in Wadebridge
and hire a bicycle to ride along the Camel Trail. Venture onto the rugged
landscape of Bodmin Moor, steeped in history and ghost stories. Further
along the coast is Bude, with excellent leisure facilities, beaches, shops
and an 18-hole golf course.
Experience Cornwall's magnificent gardens and
houses, from the superb National
Trust property of Lanhydrock to the awe-inspiring biomes of the Eden
Project, and the tranquil beauty of Trebah and the Lost
Gardens of Heligan.
Whatever time of year you choose to visit Cornwall,
you will be greeted by a warm welcome and an abundance of places to visit
and enjoy.
